By using the 'Bulk import' feature you can quickly create new profiles or update existing ones, dramatically cutting down on the time it takes to update listings individually.

Profile information is imported via CSV or TSV files (This article will reference .CSV files). More information and templates can be found on this page - What listing information can I import and export?

Step 1

Navigate to the eBay>Listings section in the Frooition software:

Step 2

Once you have navigated to this page you will need to click 'Import'. If you haven't got any profiles yet, this is what the layout will look like:

If  you already have listing profiles, this is the layout:

Step 3

This is the pop-up window that will appear when you click 'Import'. You will need to import your pre-made .CSV file here, you can do this by clicking 'Choose File' as shown here:

Step 4

There are 3 drop-down options to chose from when uploading a .CSV file:

The 1st menu is an option that will either update current listing profiles or not. If you are unsure, leave this option as 'Do not update'

The 2nd menu prompts you to tell the uploader how the file is laid out. Again, if you are unsure, leave the option as 'Comma'

The 3rd menu is a choice of how you enclosed your values in the import file. Unless you have changed the " to ', leave this option as is.

Step 5

Once you have chosen all of the options you'll need to click 'Import'

When your file as been imported you will be greeted with a green 'success' box, or a red 'error' box.

If you see the success box, your import has been completed and you're done!

If, on the other hand, you're greeted with the red box it will display a list of errors that will need addressing in the import .CSV before it can be successfully uploaded.
