How to create an eBay Ads PLA Campaign

Modified on Fri, 09 Feb 2024 at 03:37 PM

In this article we will show you how to create a PLA Campaign using Frooition's eBay Ads Analysis tool.

See our video guide HERE.

Step 1:

Navigate to the eBay Ads Analysis page: https://freedom.frooition.com/ebay/reports/dashboard/campaign/

Step 2:

Click the Create new Campaign button, this will give you three options, PLS Campaign, PLS Rule Based Campaign and PLA Campaign. Give the PLA Campaign option a click.

Step 3:

You will now see two options, you can choose either Fast Setup OR Manual Setup

Fast Setup:

Fast setup is where Frooition will suggest and create an Ad Group for you, simply select the listings you want to include in this campaign and we will do the rest, even suggest you keywords to use.

Manual Setup:

Manual setup gives you full control, you may create your own Ad Group name, select your listings and choose your own positive and negative keywords.

In this article we will cover the Manual setup, so click Manual Setup if you wish to follow along.

Step 4:

Enter your Campaign Name, Start Date, End Date and Daily Budget that you wish to use.

If you want the campaign to start today and have no end date, feel free to leave the start and end date fields blank.

Once completed, click next.

You will now see an Ad Group screen as below, simply enter an Ad Group name. We recommend naming this something similar to the products that you will be including in the Ad Group.

Step 5:

Once you have entered the Ad Group Name, click next. You will then see the following screen where you can select listings you would like to include in this campaign. If you can't find the items you are looking for on the first page, you can click the down icon next to the word Filters to search via Keyword, Price and Category.

Step 6:

After you have chosen your Listings, you can click on the Summary to see what listings will be added to this campaign. If you are happy with these, you can click next. If not, you may click the remove button on the listing to take it out of the campaign.

On the next page, you will be able to choose keywords for your listings.

You may select just one keyword then click the right arrow to push it over to the keyword table, or alternatively if you want to add all the suggested keywords, you can click the two arrow symbol, this will add all keywords to your campaign.

If you spot any you do not like, you can click the left arrow icon to remove them.

If you want to add your own Keywords, you can type them into the field next to Enter your own keywords, then selecting a match type.

Once Happy, click the Launch Campaign, then your Ad is live!
