This next section is where you can select which items you want to open a campaign for. There are filters on the left that will help you group items and locate the ones that you want to promote. Once you have selected the items you wish to add to this campaign, click the ‘Set Ad Rate’ button.

eBay uses in-depth algorithms and all the data they have to determine the best ‘Ad Rate’ percentage for these items. This means that if you sell your item through the Ad position provided by this campaign then you will be paying the ‘Ad fee’, as shown below the percentage entry box.

You can edit the percentage that you are willing to pay, the default is the eBay suggested ‘Ad Rate’.

Once you have selected the ‘Ad Rate’ percentage you are happy with for all selected items, click the ‘Review & Launch’ Button.

Alternatively, if you want to add more items to this campaign you can click the ‘Add Listings’ button to return to the previous screen and add more listings!

A pop-up will appear asking for a Campaign name, start and end date.

Once you have entered these, click the ‘Launch’ button and the campaign will be live. As the text says in this section, the campaign may take several hours to go ‘live’ on eBay.

You’re done! This campaign will stay live on eBay until canceled unless you set an end date.

Start and end dates can be useful when setting seasonal campaigns.
