Listing Optimisation is a term we use at Frooition that encompasses a large and varied section of selling on eBay.
Listing Optimisation will help your listings stand out from the crowd, improve in eBay search results (SEO), keep buyers on your items rather than returning to the search results page, plus much more.
Here are some examples of how you can Optimise your listings:
Item Specific Report:
This area of the software, located via the 'Items report' tab in the Frooition software, will show you if the item specifics have been filled in correctly for each of your listings. As eBay now uses item specifics within their searches, it's best to fill in as many as possible.
This article will show you how to add item specifics to your listings: https://help.frooition.com/support/solutions/articles/33000245451-how-to-add-item-specifics-to-your-listings-item-specifics-tool-2019
Design:
90% of traffic on eBay goes directly into the listings (from eBay search pages or Google/Google Shopping). It is important to retain buyers from this point! You need to make sure you are not missing out on retaining buyers within your listings due to lack of professional design, navigation and cross promotion.
As part of our eBay designs services and implementation process we will convert over all your live listings to your new Frooition eBay design.
But existing Frooition clients have access to roll this out via the Frooition software. On the eBay overview page of your Frooition account, make sure your percentage or listings with design are at 100%.
This ensures all listings include your Frooition professional design and include Dynamic Cross Promotion within. This helps you look more professional on eBay, standing out from the competition and improving buyer confidence and trust. Which leads to higher conversion rates and average order values.

Cross Promotion:
Located in the 'Promo Rules' tab in the Frooition software. You can create Cross Promo rules for your products here.
For example, if you're selling a Macbook, you may want to Cross Promote Macbook accessories. This can all be done via Cross Promotion rules either with store categories or eBay categories depending on your setup for eBay.

Marketing:
Located in the 'Marketing' tab in the Frooition software. From here, you can create a cost-per-sale advertisement, this will place your items within the sponsored boxes on ebay.
These boxes are a great way to get your listings in front of more potential customers, they are usually located on the 1st page of eBay search results. The beauty of this marketing approach is that if you don't sell any items via the sponsored boxes, you don't pay! Only pay for what you sell, you're in control of everything through the Frooition software.

Video:
If possible, we would advise adding a short video to your products, this helps customers understand what they are buying. It also allows you to give an overview of the product, showing it in use, or even a short explanation of how the product works with other items you sell! Example: https://www.ebay.com/itm/384338122718
In turn, videos tend to help reduce returns as your customers know in advance the items that will be delivered to them in more accuracy. You can upload videos to your new and existing eBay listings via Frooition software, get in touch with us today via the 'Help' section in the software to find out more.

Seller Information Tabs:
Make sure to fill these tabs with important business information or information that may help potential buyers make that purchase. You can create multiple tab sets within the 'Account Setup' tab. Ideas for different tabs are: Returns Policy/Method, Shipping Info, About Us, Clothing Fitment data, or anything that you feel may improve the chance of a sale!
