In this article we will discuss how to map your eBay Categories to your BigCommerce Categories.

To get started, once you have logged into your Frooition account, click the eBay tab > Overview:

On the left hand side menu click BigCommerce

In this tutorial we will be covering eBay to Bigcommerce category mapping, so please click the eBay to Bigcommerce import method.
This will then load in your currently live eBay listing.
You will see in the table there is a column labelled "Mapped" , any items you currently do not have mapped to your BigCommerce categories will display as "Not Mapped" [Click to Map]

Give this button a click in order to get started with mapping:

Once clicked, you should see a pop up appear:
This gives you a little information about what you are doing. Give Map a click, this will automatically copy the eBay category ID to make it easier for you to map.
Upon clicking, it should also take you to the following page:

For this tutorial, we will be working inside the BigCommerce Category Mapping section, find the row you wish to map your eBay category to, for this tutorial we are going to be linking our eBay category to the Health and Wellbeing BigCommerce category. This means when we import an item from our selected eBay category, it will automatically be added to the Health and Wellbeing category on BigCommerce when you run an import.

Firstly, after clicking the plus symbol, you should see a pop up show on screen. Click "Browse"

In the eBay Site drop down, make sure you have the correct site selected. For this tutorial we will be selecting UK

On the right hand side of the screen, you should now be able to paste in your eBay ID, this would have automatically been added to your clipboard, so right click in the area and click Paste , then click Go

Once you have clicked Go, you will see the category displays, in this instance it is the T-Shirt category. If this is correct, click Ok

You have now successfully mapped your eBay Category to a BigCommerce category.

You may now carry on importing your items.
