Images not showing on listings
If images are missing from live eBay listings after a template or Bulk Revision update, the most likely causes are:
- The image URL referenced in your listing has changed or the hosting location has moved
- eBay blocked the image host (this happens with some third-party image hosting services)
- The image was hosted by a previous template provider (e.g. InkFrog) and is no longer accessible after switching to Frooition
If this is the case, raise a support ticket with an example listing URL and the team will investigate.
Image upload issues (Shopify / BigCommerce builds)
For Shopify and BigCommerce stores managed by Frooition, images are typically uploaded via CSV or directly through the platform. Common issues include:
- Images listed in the spreadsheet but not appearing on the live site — this usually means the image column in the CSV was empty or the file path was incorrect
- Images uploaded but not assigned to the correct product or collection
When reporting an image upload issue, always send the most recent version of your spreadsheet to the team and confirm which columns contain the image data.
Image size and dimension requirements
For eBay listings, eBay recommends a minimum of 500px on the longest side, and images up to 9000px are accepted. For best zoom quality, use at least 1600px on the longest side.
For Frooition template banners and design elements, see the article on image dimensions. If you are unsure what dimensions to use for a specific template element, raise a ticket and the team will confirm.
Image order on listings
eBay controls the primary image order on listings. Frooition templates display the images in the order they are set in your eBay listing. To change image order, edit the listing in eBay Seller Hub or your listing tool (e.g. InkFrog, Suredone, Linnworks).
Background and watermark images
If your template uses a background image and it has changed or disappeared, it may have been overwritten during a template update. Raise a ticket with your eBay store URL and the team will restore it.
