Installing and testing your eBay store banner

Overview

Your eBay store banner is the large image that appears at the top of your eBay store page (not individual listings). This article explains how banners are managed through Frooition and what to do if your banner is not showing correctly.

What Frooition manages

Frooition designs and applies your eBay template, which includes your store banner as part of the overall design. The banner image and its placement are handled by the Frooition design team.

Frooition does not manage eBay listing setup, product uploads, or store category configuration directly in eBay Seller Hub. Those tasks are handled through eBay or your listing tool.

Banner not showing or displaying incorrectly

If your store banner has stopped showing, appears cropped, or is not resizing correctly on mobile, the most common causes are:

• A recent eBay change to store page structure (eBay updates its store page layout periodically, which can affect how banners display)
• The banner image dimensions do not match current eBay requirements
• A recent template update did not include the banner correctly

What to do

1. Take a screenshot of your store page showing the issue.
2. Raise a support ticket with the screenshot and your eBay store URL.
3. The team will review the banner in your template and make any necessary adjustments.

Seasonal and promotional banners

If you want to update your banner for a seasonal promotion, sale, or rebrand, raise a support ticket with your requirements. For design requests (new artwork, new messaging, updated colours), this may be quoted as a design job depending on the scope of changes.

If you only need the existing banner image swapped for a new one you have already created, the team can apply it for you quickly. Provide the image file in your ticket.

Cross-promotion in banners

The Frooition system automatically updates the cross-promotion section of your eBay design via the backend. If you use a tool like Marketplace Connect to manage your eBay store, cross-promotion and store management happens through that tool rather than directly through Frooition.
